Nicky Whelan became known in Australia with the role of Pepper Steiger, which she played on the soap series Neighbors for a total of a hundred episodes, which aired from 2006 through 2007. The very first role she played with Hollywood was a choral-comedy called Hollywood & Wine in which she played a young actress that is a newcomer to Hollywood. In 2013, she was able to be more visible in projects She was featured in seven episodes in the series detective Franklin and Bash, then landed her first regular role on the internet-based series Chosen that is played with Milo Ventimiglia. She plays in the first two seasons of the show as well as giving a response to Chad Michael Murray. Following that, she was featured in supporting roles in two movies based around planes. One of them is Flight 7500: One Way Back on the SyFy Channel. It featured actors who had appeared in the television series.
