
Madison Elle Beer from Long Island, New York was an early music lover. She started posting videos in 2012 of herself covering popular songs. In the space of a few months pop star Justin Bieber came across her version of Etta James' "At Last" and shared it with his 25-million-plus Twitter followers. The resulting media coverage led to her signing a record contract with Island Records and a management agreement with Bieber's manager next year. Beer also landed a small part in Louder Than Words, starring David Duchovny, and it was screened at the 2013 film festival. Her first single"Melodies," a melismatic and poppy track "Melodies," also saw the light of day in the latter part of that year.Beer's vocals first appeared on other artists' songs, including Cody Simpson's "Valentine" and 2015's club track "I Won't Let You walk away" by Mako. Her debut solo EP , titled As She Wants, in the year of 2018. The lead single "Home with You" landed in the Top 30 in Norway, while the album landed in the top part of the Billboard 200. Beer also released the single "Hurts Like Hell", featuring Offset the same year.
